What happens when you go to the bakery and the baker gives you 2 of the freshest loaves of crusty bread for the price of one? You slice it up, make some “pizza”, save a couple extra slices for breakfast the next morning, and immediately freeze the rest (because let’s be honest, it would otherwise be right in sight, right in mind, right in our mouths!).
We enjoyed these “super simple pizzas” with a nice glass of wine. The recipe reminds me of something I would have made as a child, but with more sophisticated ingredients. Choose your own adventure here, but slice up some fresh bread, add your sauce, beautiful veggies and toppings, and pop it in the oven at 400 degrees F for about 20 minutes or until your pizza looks perfect!
