Don’t Underestimate the TRX. Ever.

Have you ever been one of those, “if I don’t pick up a weight, I haven’t actually worked out” kind of people? I’m beyond guilty as charged.

Never again will I under value, underestimate, or under utilize a good ole workout with just my body and a TRX set.

There are plenty of great resources out there to help you develop your own routine and to help you safely learn these exercises. Give this, or something similar, a go. You’ll surprise yourself!

Warmup 5-10 minutes

3 rounds with 1 minute rest between rounds:

  • TRX rows x 10
  • TRX push ups x 10
  • 50 foot bear crawl

3 rounds with 1 minute rest between rounds:

  • TRX lunges x 10 each leg
  • TRX jumping squats x 15
  • TRX knee tucks x 15
  • Frog jumps x 50 feet

3 rounds with 1 minute rest between rounds:

  • Handstand push ups or progression to handstand push-ups x 10
  • Handstand hold 30 seconds
  • Sumo walk 25 feet and crab walk 25 feet

Finish up with whatever feels good. Maybe a short jog, sprints, intervals, or a nice stretch session.

Happy sweating!

  1. Unfortunately, where I live, fitness is still to become a necessity….and TRX training facility is plainly unavailable. I sooo hope that soon I move out to a city with a decent TRX gym….nevertheless my best wishes .Cheers 🙂
