Raw Food Bites 


This one could easily be called “Afternoon pick me up that doesn’t involve caffeine” or “I like my fruit scrambled with nuts”. Choose you own adventure, and please, choose your own variety of nuts, seeds, and dried fruit in the recipe below. This is what we landed on at the time. 

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams walnuts
  • 100 grams almonds
  • 10 grams chia seeds
  • 10 grams flax seed
  • 180 grams dates 
  • 80 grams dried currants
  • 20 grams dried cranberries 
  • 200 grams oats
  • 1 TBSP coconut oil 
  • 1 TBSP honey 

Using a food processor, blend together the walnuts, almonds, seeds, and fruit until combined.  Next, add in the oats, oil, and honey. Blend together, but don’t blend so much that it becomes smooth. Texture is a good thing. 

This makes 24 servings and you can choose to make them look however you’d like. Squares. Spheres. You can’t go wrong. You like cold food? These are also great chilled!

Protein: 2.6 grams

Fat: 6.9 grams 

Carbs: 14.5 grams
